Susan Abdulezer, Multimedia Coordinator - has 22 years in education as a teacher, Staff Developer and Multimedia Coordinator for the New York City Public Schools. She is the recipient of an Apple Computer Crossroads Grant and an Apple Computer Leadership in Education Grant. She has also received the Reader's Digest American Heroes in Education Award. As Christa McAuliffe Fellow she developed a collaborative project with Deaf children that went on to win the prestigious Computerworld/Smithsonian Innovation in Technology Award in 1996. In 1997 she won an unprecedented second Computerworld/Smithsonian Award for her Virtual Alphabet Book software. As a result she was inducted into the Smithsonian Academy and included in Who's Who for the 3 consecutive years.
David Ricceri, Illustrator - studied theatre for several years at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts before going on to received his BFA in illustration at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. He was a preschool art teacher for six years, he has done illustrations for CD and book covers and has also illustrated children's books for Scholastic Inc. and Henry Holt Publishing. His illustrations have been seen in many national magazines and newspapers such as Psychology Today, Business Week, Ad Week, Parenting Magazine, Teen Magazine, Macworld, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune, and The Los Angeles Times.
Anne Farrell, PhD, child psychologist - is a clinical and school psychologist who lives and practices in the metropolitan New York area. She directs a professional training program for psychologists and an interdisciplinary team of professionals who provide assessment and intervention for children and families at a university-affiliated program. She is on the faculty of New York Medical College and frequently offers lectures, workshops, and professional training. She provides consultation and technical assistance to schools, private agencies and foundations, and government-sponsored programs, offering expertise on topics such as assessment, child development, behavioral intervention, and parenting.
Jeffrey Zahn, Music Consultant - has decades of experience both composing and producing music for television, feature films and animation. At CINAR Films, he has been responsible for supervising all music for over 32 international TV series and films including: Arthur(PBS); Zobomofoo (PBS); Caillou (PBS); The Busy World of Richard Scarry (Nick.); Are You Afraid of the Dark? (Nick.); Paddington Bear (HBO); Madeline (Disney/Family); Bunch of Munsch (CBC) ; Wombles (BBC); Little Lulu (HBO); Wimzie's House (PBS); Sci Squad (Discovery); Lassie (Dis.); etc. .Films or TV movies include: Million Dollar Babies (CBS mini-series); Ghost of Dickens Past; Sally Marshall is an Alien; etc. Jeff has composed, produced, and arranged music for series, supervised and directed all vocal and musical talent. He produced and arranged theme song working with Ziggy Marley, Art Garfunkel, Yo Yo Ma and Joshua Redmon.
Sean Lightner - Project Consultant has worked in multimedia for the web and television for the past ten years. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Film, he relocated to New York City where he became a top multimedia consultant specializing in Macromedia Flash. Past clients include: J. Wiley, Agency.com, Random House, NBC, Showtime Networks, and TimeWarner. At the Oxygen cable network, he worked for two years as a part of the company's prototyping team. His teamwork there culminated in an Animation Magazine award for The Ruth Truth, a groundbreaking interactive animation project. Additional awards include "New Talent" Milia Award in Cannes. Currently, he helms Thoughtsocket Media which develops projects for interactive television and broadband video throughout the US and South America.
